Otter Brewery has been brewing award-winning ales from their family-run site in the heart of Devon since 1990. They’re all about quality, sustainability, and supporting the local community—values that we share here at Bearslake. Plus, their beers taste fantastic (but don’t just take our word for it—come and try them!).
Now Pouring at Bearslake
We’re kicking things off with two of our favourites:
Otter Amber – A classic, well-balanced amber ale with a smooth, malty body and a gentle hoppy finish. Perfect with a hearty pub meal or just on its own as you relax in our beer garden and take in those Dartmoor views.
Otter Fresh – As the name suggests, this one’s crisp, clean, and refreshing. A golden ale with subtle citrus notes—ideal for sunny days and lighter dishes from our seasonal menu.
Whether you’re a regular or just passing through, we think you’ll love what Otter Brewery brings to the table (or the bar, more accurately). It’s proper Devon beer, made just down the road, and it fits right in with our focus on celebrating all things local.
