Not all bar jobs feel the same
Here at the Bearslake, we love people. We don’t just pour pints, we create proper pub vibes. Think cosy fires, beautiful beer gardens, incredible local food and a team that actually enjoys working together.
Set in a 13th-century thatched inn on Dartmoor, we’re a place people come to switch off, celebrate, and feel looked after, and our team is at the heart of that.
Good vibes only (yeah we mean it)
We’re building a team where people love coming to work, enjoy supporting each other and have a laugh at the same time. Egos need not a apply.
Learn fast, grow properly
Doesn’t matter to us if you are new to the sector or have a ton of experience, we’ll train you in:
- Bar skills (from pouring the perfect pint, shaking our seasonal cocktails or recommending our local spirits)
- Giving great service by being you, no following sales scripts
- Knowledge about our amazing food and drink (local ales, wines and food- be warned, this will include eating and drinking amazing things)
Feel proud of where you work
We love our place and we care about what we do. Our commitment to local sits at the heart of our ethos; allowing us to create a place where our guests feel the genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere every time they visit.
