Brent Tor Dartmoor

Walking To Brent Tor

One of the tors near to the pub is Brent Tor; it is about 7 miles from Bearslake Inn. If you are feeling adventurous you could walk there in about 2.5 hours at a good pace. Otherwise pop there in the car to make the walk shorter!

Brent Tor is situated on the Western edge of Dartmoor about 4 miles north of Tavistock. On Top of the tor is the Church of St Michael and the tor itself is 1100 ft above sea level at its highest point. The church is the parish church for the nearby village of Brentor.
